A Few Updates

Andrew and Mandy will be moving back to Weyburn at some point in the relatively near future. SaskTel was compassionate enough to allow Andrew to work from the Weyburn office. Mandy will apply for a job with a company that does transcription and she'll be able to work from home.

They've found a house in Weyburn and have a conditional offer on it. The only trick now is to sell their house. Its been on the market for quite a few weeks with no offers yet. They reduced the price for a second time. Hopefully it will be enough to attract a buyer.

Hayden and Cameron had appointments in Saskatoon with the genetic counselor and the pediatric neurologist. Both appointments went fine and the boys did very well on the trip. All the staff at the hospital were great, but they definitely saw need for a new children's hospital. There are more appointments coming up. Both boys will be going to the Wascana Rehabilitation centre later this month for assessments. Mandy had an appointment with a cardiologist. Apparently they like to keep their eyes on carriers of Duchenne's, just in case. Mandy's check up went great though. The doctor and his intern were quite impressed with her vigorous work out schedule.

All in all things are going well, everyone is just anxious about getting the house sold. Hopefully that will happen in the near future and they can finalize a date to move to Weyburn.
