A Few Updates

Andrew and Mandy will be moving back to Weyburn at some point in the relatively near future. SaskTel was compassionate enough to allow Andrew to work from the Weyburn office. Mandy will apply for a job with a company that does transcription and she'll be able to work from home.

They've found a house in Weyburn and have a conditional offer on it. The only trick now is to sell their house. Its been on the market for quite a few weeks with no offers yet. They reduced the price for a second time. Hopefully it will be enough to attract a buyer.

Need A House?

Some good news has come our way. Andrew will be able to work from Weyburn, so the coupe is planning to move there. They've listed their current home for a little less then they were hoping, but it should still be enough to buy a good size bungalow in Weyburn.

Andrew still has to negotiate a few details with SaskTel about the working arrangement, but its official that he can work from Weyburn. Everybody is quite excited about moving back to the city that never stopped being home.

Life Can Change, All At Once

There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just say it. Both Hayden and Cameron have muscular dystrophy. We got the news on Thursday. We had known they were at risk for a month or so, and were working on getting the appropriate tests done. While we haven't had the actual genetic tests, or muscle biopsies done, the incredibly high CK levels leave little doubt. Normally CK levels are under 200. Cameron's level was 7500, and Hayden's was 10,000.
